Part 5.3 - Women's Stories - Jenny's Story Endometrial Cancer
Jenny's journey with gynaecological cancer has left her feeling more passionate for life than ever. Diagnosed with endometrial cancer, she underwent a complete hysterectomy, where several lymph nodes from her legs were removed, fortunately allowing her to avoid any chemo or radiotherapy. Being married for 40 plus years with two adult children, she was naturally afraid of how the cancer would affect her family and her relationships, but through a positive and strong mindset she was able to come through the other side. Today as she teaches adult computer courses and herself attends TAFE twice a week, she proudly admits that 'there is nothing I couldn't do before (the cancer) that I can't do
