Breast prosthesis surgery
Breast prosthesis involves the process of plastic surgeons placing breast implants in order to increase the size or improve the symmetrical look and give a pleasing breast shape.

Following insertion and placement of breast implants, the surgeon will use sutures to close the surgical incisions. Many plastic surgeons will wrap the chest area with a gauze bandage or dress it in a surgical compression bra to provide support and assist with healing.
