TACE का मतलब है: Transarterial Chemoembolization। यह treatment arteries के through होती है। कुछ agents को Arteries में inject किया जाता है।

2:35 TACE किन Patients में किया जाता है?
जिन patients में HCC (Hepatocellular Carcinoma) पाया गया है उनमे TACE Procedure किया जाता है। Hepatocellular Carcinoma यह एक Primary Liver Tumor है। कई बार TACE Secondary Liver Tumors में भी use किया जाता है। जैसे की Breast Cancer और Colorectal Cancer ऐसे cases में TACE किया जा सकता है।

TACE Procedure के side-effects बहुत ही uncommon है। Operated area में 1-2 दिन pain होना या फिर Fever आना यह कुछ common side-effects है। जहा से TACE Inject किया जाता है वह Hematoma भी हो सकता है।
