Jan Lewin, PhD, section chief of Speech Pathology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, discusses head and neck lymphedema.

Most people are familiar with lymphedema of the arms or legs, but head and neck lymphedema is discussed far less often. However, for patients who develop the condition, it can be very debilitating, and is a problem that is more than just cosmetic, Lewin says.
