Dr. Guy Massry helps us understand eyelid cancer and it can be treated. The most common type of eyelid cancer is basil cell carcinoma, which begins in the lower epidermis and results directly from sun exposure. This type of cancer does not usually spread to the lymph nodes or distant organs.
Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumours (GIST) are rare mesenchymal tumours of the gut, known to arise from the interstitial cells of Cajal. They most commonly arise in the stomach and their management is quite different to that of epithelial tumours such as adenocarcinoma or squamous carcinoma.
