O que é síndrome de Peutz-Jeghers?
www.drmarcelowerneck.com.br

Treatment of dark spots on the skin.
Dark spots on the skin can be benign or malignant. Actinic lentigos are among the most common benign lesions.
Also called solar lentigos or senile lentigos, they are found in the areas most exposed to the sun such as the face, back of hands, décolleté and forearms. The size can be from a few millimeters to several centimeters and in some cases they are very extensive.
Currently the most effective and safe treatment is the one performed with the Helios II laser, with which the lesion can be completely painlessly eliminated, leaving healthy and healthy skin. The light energy of the laser is absorbed by the pigment which is denatured without causing damage to the neighboring tissues.

Abstract Peutz-Jeghers (PJ) polyps are often associated with the PJ syndrome (PJS), an autosomal dominant genetic disease characterized by the development of benign hamartomatous polyps in the gastrointestinal tract and hyperpigmented macules on the lips and oral mucosa. However, rarely, solitary PJ polyps (3) may also occur in patients without PJS. The case of a 62--year-old patient without PJS is presented, with an incidental finding of a solitary Petz-Jeghers polyp in the sigmoid. This article is part of an expert video encyclopedia.
