10- Berries
Berries are rich in various vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber. Scientists have shown great interest in berries because of their antioxidant properties and potential health benefits. One study shows that anthocyanins, a compound in blackberries, reduce the biomarkers of colon cancer.
9- Veggies
vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, and kale contain beneficial nutrients, including vitamin C, vitamin K, and manganese. Vegetables also contain sulforaphane, a plant compound with anti-cancer properties. One study shows that sulforaphane significantly inhibits the growth of cancer cells. It even stimulates cell destruction in colon cancer cells. Sulforaphane, in combination with genistein, a compound in soybeans, can significantly inhibit the growth and size of breast cancer tumors.
8- Carrots
Carrots contain large amounts of beta-carotene, which prevents certain types of cancer. Carrots contain several essential nutrients, including vitamin K, vitamin A, and antioxidants. It also contains large amounts of beta-carotene, which is responsible for the distinctive color of orange. Beta-carotene plays an important role in supporting the immune system. It can even prevent certain types of cancer.
7- Turmeric
Turmeric is a spice that is very famous for its health-boosting properties. Curcumin, its active ingredient, is a chemical with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and even anti-cancer effects. One study looked at the effects of curcumin on 44 patients with colorectal lesions that may have become cancerous. After 30 days, 4 grams of curcumin daily reduces the number of lesions by 40%. In a laboratory study, curcumin reduced the spread of colon cancer cells by targeting a specific cancer-related enzyme.
6- Citrus
Consumption of some citrus fruits, such as lemons, grapefruits, and oranges in some studies, has been accompanied by a lower risk of cancer. A large study found that participants who ate more citrus fruits were less likely to develop gastrointestinal and upper respiratory cancers. Consuming more citrus fruits is associated with a reduced risk of pancreatic cancer.
5- Flaxseed
Flaxseed is rich in fiber as well as heart-healthy fats. It can even be a healthy addition to your diet. It may even help reduce the growth of cancer and destroyycancer cells. Add a tablespoon (10 grams) of ground flaxseed to your diet daily and mix it in a smoothie.
4- Tomato
Lycopene is a compound found in tomatoes and is responsible for its vivid red color and anti-cancer properties. Increasing the intake of lycopene and tomatoes can reduce the risk of prostate cancer. A review of 17 studies also found that consuming more raw tomatoes, cooked tomatoes, and lycopene were all associated with a reduced risk of prostate cancer.
3- Garlic
Among the active ingredients of garlic is allicin. A compound that has been shown in numerous test-tube studies to destroy cancer cells. Several studies have shown an association between consuming garlic and reducing the risk of certain types of cancer.
2- Walnut
According to the American Cancer Research Institute, all nuts have anti-cancer properties. But scientists have studied walnuts more than any other species. Walnuts contain collagen, which the body converts into Urolithins. Urolithins are compounds that bind to estrogen receptors. It may even play a role in preventing breast cancer.
1- Cinnamon
Cinnamon is known for its health benefits, including its ability to lower blood sugar and relieve inflammation. In addition, some laboratory and animal experiments have shown that cinnamon may prevent the spread of cancer cells. A laboratory study showed that cinnamon extract can reduce cancer cells and destroy them. Cinnamon essential oil suppresses the growth of brain and breast cancer cells.

Tightness is common side effects from cancer treatment like surgery and radiation. Combine this with weakness in certain muscles and we tend to see chronic shoulder pain and dysfunction.

Various exercises we may do in therapy to improve this can include:

➡️ Pec Stretches to improve shoulder alignment
