The Story of My Stage Zero Breast Cancer Diagnosis
In this video I'm sharing fresh news of my diagnosis with DCIS, a pre-cancer condition referred to as "stage zero breast cancer" which often ends in surgery. This video is your invitation to observe my story as I learn about the choices and options before me as a result of this diagnosis. This and future videos in this playlist will not be presented to the viewer from the perspective of a "healthcare professional" as much as from the perspective of an average health-conscious woman sorting out the unique needs of her own body while enduring the gauntlet of procedures and propositions associated with the world of oncology. Please do not take anything in this video as advice or insight that would or should in any way replace the advice of your doctors or mentors who know your unique story! There are MANY different paths that lead to this diagnosis, and many different paths of recovery from it as well.
