What does Stage 4 Stomach Cancer mean?
It is a cancer that originated in the stomach but now spreads to other parts of the body like the peritoneum, liver, lungs, etc.

If it is spread to a limited part of the peritoneum it is curable with a good survival rate.
If the cancer is limited to three liver lesions it can be treated with a combination of chemotherapy and surgery and can deliver good long term outcomes.
If cancer has spread in the lungs it is curable with targeted surgery.
To conclude, stage 4 stomach cancer is definitely treatable but in patients with favourable biology and limited spread. To know more watch the full video.
