Hodgkin lymphoma
These are malignant disorder of the reticuluo endothelial system marked by accumulation of dysfunctional immature T and B cells and natural killer cell
The account for near about 12% of all the lymphomas.
Pathophysiology
It is marked by appearance of reed sternburg cells which are gaint nucleated cells in the tumor and spread through lymphatic channels it may also spread to via blood and can reach up to gi tract bone marrow skin
Sign and symptoms include painless enlargement of the lymph node
fever chills weight loss
Diagnostic evaluation include complete blood count lymph node bypassy test x-ray magnetic resonance imaging and gallium 67 scan.
Management generally include drugs such as doxorubicin, vincristine, oncovin and Prednisone
