ACC 23 Expert Consensus Decision Pathway on Cardiac Amyloidosis: Highlights
Dr Michelle Kittleson (Cedars-Sinai California Heart Center, US) provides an overview of the 2023 ACC Expert Consensus Decision Pathway on Comprehensive Multidisciplinary Care for the Patient with Cardiac Amyloidosis. She highlights the unmet needs in managing patients with cardiac amyloidosis and stresses the importance of a multidisciplinary approach involving cardiologists, haematologists, and other specialists. The key take-home messages of the consensus include early diagnosis, comprehensive assessment, and individualized management.
