Elise was working and raising two young kids when she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. In this video series, she shares about every part of the myeloma experience so far, from how she got diagnosed to being a part of a clinical trial (selinexor + carfilzomib + dexamethasone) that’s been working, to diving into how she has been able to live with myeloma. In this segment, Elise describes how she realized something was wrong with her body, and how she had to advocate for herself after many different misdiagnoses.
