On Octber 22 17 law firms in Naples, Florida gathered at the Mercato shopping plaza with one thing on their mind and one secret under their clothes. At exactly 6pm lawyers, staff and family members gathered in front of the Pub and began to undress! As they removed their shirts, a sea of pink bras filled the square. Then they began to raise signs with their firm name v. breast cancer. One by one there were shouts of support as each firm yelled out. Crowds cheered, people whistled and all eyes were on this group of local, every day superheroes out to support the American Cancer Society's walk on Octber 29th. Many people believe that wearing fitting bras or underwire bras can cause breast cancer. But, leading surgeons and cancer organizations have termed this as a myth.

Till date, there is no proven link between bra use and breast cancer. However, bras can have certain negative impacts on the health of the women. Wearing ill-fitting bras can lead to poor posture, and cause back and neck pain. Health experts also suggest not to wear a bra while sleeping, as besides being uncomfortable, it can make you feel suffocated and cause breathing problems.
