Forcing yourself to eat food on those days is not a good thing to do. If you identify those days in your life and not give the body food – because it is not asking – a lot of your health issues will be handled by that simple pattern.

The Importance of Fasting:
This cycle in the system is something that most people can identify if they take away the nonsense of “so many calories, so much protein and so much mineral should be eaten.” If they listen to the body, these three days can be easily identified by most human beings. You should not eat on these days. This was said because someone observed their own system and expressed this. But then people did not have the awareness so they fixed the Ekadashi for not eating, as there are three Ekadashis every 48 days.

If you are constantly drinking coffee or tea, then, if you fast, it will become torture for you. If you want to fast, first of all prepare the body by eating the right kind of foods. If it is a great torture when you hold back your urge to eat – you will only cause damage to the system. Maybe you are thinking of performing some kind of a feat that you did not eat for three days, and you want to go and tell that to the whole world. Please do not do such things. It is of no benefit to you. You will just make yourself weak. Just understanding the body and coming to a deeper understanding of how the system functions and what is the best thing to do, is more important than doing something like this.

It may not be a good thing for everyone to fast, but it has many benefits if it is done with proper understanding. Finding the right situation for the system and taking off food at that time will be a good thing to do. If you are unable to go without food, if your activity levels are such and you do not have the necessary sadhana to support you, then you could go on a fruit diet, which is light on the stomach so that your inner doors will open. Forceful denial of food is not the point. The point is to make everything into a conscious process. We do not want to compulsively eat like this, we choose.

00:22 Today we have a great testimony about a little boy in Buncrana, Ireland diagnosed with stage four Neuroblastoma cancer.

01:32 Mike and Aster Mullins talks about their son Andrew Mullins born healthy in September 26, 2009; however by Christmas time in 2010, they have notice their son behaving funny. He was not eating well, losing weight, and hitting his head.

03:00 By January, they noticed a lump on his back and took him to the doctor. Shortly after, their son was diagnosed with stage four Neuroblastoma cancer. He had cancer in every bone of his body except his hands and feet. He also had a tumor measuring 7 by 8 by 21 in his 17 months old body.

06:08 “How can you believe in a loving God, who allow this to happen to a small children”, Mike Mullins faith was challenged by a father at the hospital.

08:01 Mike Mullins created a “Pray 4 Andrew” Facebook page to mobilize as many people to pray for Andrew, his son.

10:41 Parcels start to come in for Andrew and Grace – a new baby clothes, little pajamas, prayer blankets and in the midst of all was a letter with four CD’s with a hand written note “God Wants You Well”.

11:41 On their way to Dublin for another chemotherapy, the Mullins were feeling so low, they listen to “Gods wants you well” CD in the car. A message from a guy called Andrew Wommack. As they listen to the message, something resonated in their heart in understanding God’s will to heal.

14:14 The good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Part of the Gospel is that by His stripes we been healed (Isaiah 53:5) and signs will follow those who believe (Mark 16:17). The Mullins started to lay hands and speaking the good news of God’s Word in faith to Andrew.

17:01 The Mullins continue to speak, believe and stand on the Word of God over their son Andrew. Coming against Neuroblastoma cancer with the Word of God expecting it will not stand a chance.

19:24 There are many people saying to them not to talk about healing. It was a big step for them to do, but when they see Andrew healed they got very excited.
As they continue to listen to Andrew Wommack teaching that we can have faith and unbelief at the same time, the Mullins work on getting rid of their unbelief.

22:48 Faith firmly rooted in God, His love and finished work is the reason why the Mullins want to share and tell others their story. God is good.
