In the video she describes how symptoms of NETs depend on several factors, such as where the tumours are located and if they produce hormones or not.

The physical presence of NETs in the body may cause nonspecific symptoms of NETs such as pain, nausea and sometimes weight loss.

If NETs produce hormones then symptoms will be related to the hormone that they produce. This could include low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia) if NETs are producing insulin or facial flushing and other carcinoid syndrome symptoms if serotonin is produced.
