Alex Herrera, MD, City of Hope, Duarte, CA, discusses treatment options for patients with Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) who progress after brentuximab vedotin or PD1 blockade, including epigenetic modifying agents, antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) such as camidanlumab tesirine, and other cellular therapies. Natasha's husband David was diagnosed with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma in 2017. In this film she talks about how they discussed the cancer and his treatment with their two children and how they dealt with the situation together as a family. Natasha shares how she and David felt it was important to try and keep the children's lives as normal as possible and how they got help with counselling for Charlie when he needed it.

As part of our biannual steering committee meeting, Astrid Pavlovsky, Fundaleu, Beunos Aires, AR, chaired a case study discussion session on treating a patient with primary refractory classical Hodgkin lymphoma that is refractory to salvage chemotherapy. Steering committee members shared their thoughts and engaged in a lively discussion on how to best treat the 22 year-old patient.

Paul Jan Bröckelmann, MD, University Hospital of Cologne, Cologne, Germany, talks us through the key Hodgkin lymphoma data that was presented at EHA 2019, and any data to watch out for at this year's ASH meeting at the 24th Congress of the European Hematology Association (EHA) 2019, held in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Dr Brockelmann specifically mentions the HD16 trial investigating radiotherapy consolidation therapy for the treatment of Hodgkin lymphoma, and the use of brentuximab vedotin in combination with nivolumab in pediatric and adolescent patients.
