Hearing that your father has been diagnosed with cancer is difficult. Being a full-time college student and part-time caregiver during this time is even more difficult. In addition to managing schoolwork and family, Lex created the business UVA - an online cancer support community for cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers. This is her story.

Lex is 19 years old, lives in Clifton Springs, NY. She is a rising junior at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and an award-winning social entrepreneur. She is a Media and Society Major with a minor in Entrepreneurial Studies. She is an entrepreneur/activist working to change the systems originating and supporting young cancer caregivers. She was a teenage cancer caregiver to a family member.
