What you need to know about lung cancer.

What are your lungs?

Your lungs are the pair of spongy, pinkish-gray organs in your chest.
When you inhale (breathe in), air enters your lungs, and oxygen from that air moves to your blood.
At the same time, carbon dioxide, a waste gas, moves from your blood to the lungs and is exhaled.

This is part one of a two part video series in which Nurse Lisa Douglas will be sharing information about our lungs and also dealing with lung cancer.

Lung cancer has a five-year survival rate of 18.6% which is lower than many other leading cancers found in the human body so early detection is most important in increasing a persons survival rate.

Nurse Lisa will have another video next week to finish this discussion.

Nurse Lisa shares information on various health topics at the Calvary Evangelistic Assembly Church in Canada, on the early bird morning service.

If you would like to be a part of the live broadcast you can join by going to the zoom room at 0630am Et every Sunday morning and ask questions in the zoom room after service.
