Diagnosed With Cervical Cancer While Pregnant: Lisa's Story (update)
At 20 weeks pregnant, Lisa was diagnosed with cervical cancer during a routine ultrasound. She was given two options: keep the baby and undergo chemotherapy or terminate the pregnancy. Lisa and her partner decided to fight and she began chemotherapy the next day. She would undergo ten rounds of chemotherapy whilst pregnant.
Lisa would go on to give birth to a healthy baby girl at 34 weeks.
