Dr. Rebecca Auer is a surgical oncologist and translational researcher studying the impact of surgery on the immune system and subsequent cancer recurrence at the Ottawa Hospital. She is the co-chair of the CCTG Rectal Disease Orientated Group. She discusses some of the upcoming #TrialsThatMatter in the rectal cancer space including CO.28 CRC.7 and the exciting potential of immunotherapy.
