What Causes Arm and Breast Lymphedema after Cancer Treatment - Risk of Lymphedema

Chest and breast lymphedema and swelling are common after breast cancer and melanoma cancer treatment with surgery and/or radiation. But what causes this? What places someone at risk for lymphedema of the arm and breast after cancer treatment? In this video, I share what increases someone’s risk for arm lymphedema, breast swelling and chest lymphedema after cancer treatment for both breast cancer-related lymphedema and lymphedema from melanoma cancer of the upper body, as well as share what the early signs of lymphedema are and what to look for.
