The symptoms of liver cancer may differ slightly from other liver disorders, but a persistent pain in the upper-right side of your abdomen or in your stomach area is common. This abdominal pain can be caused by a tumor pushing against a part of the liver or other organs. At the same time, you may be able to feel a lump or mass in the area where the pain is occurring. Abdominal swelling or bloating, a condition called ascites, is also likely.

Other liver cancer symptoms that may occur at the same time include these.

* Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes)

* Unusually itchy skin.

* Blood-tinged vomiting and bouts of nausea.

* Frequent bruising, and severe bleeding from small cuts.

* A sudden change in eating habits. You may have less interest in eating your favorite foods.

* Unexpected or unplanned weight loss.

* Cognitive difficulties like confusion, disorientation, and memory lapses.

* Frequently feeling fatigued and drowsy.

* Changes in the appearance of bowel movements.

It's not unusual for liver cancer to develop over a period of months or even years. Symptoms often donโ€™t begin to appear until the cancer is somewhat advanced.
