Understanding Pediatric Brain Tumors and Treatment
When facing a child’s diagnosis, a family can be overwhelmed with all the information being presented to them. In this webinar, hosted by the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation on February 18, 2021, Dr. Mary Baron Nelson of Children's Hospital Los Angeles, shares information to help a family navigate the first part of the journey. Learn how a tumor’s location can impact a child physically or emotionally; what the most common tumor types are in children and available treatments; and finally, how location of the tumor, age of the child, genetics, and pathology all factor into the treatments chosen.
