GASTRIC TUMORS
Worldwide incidence of gastric cancer in men along with the mortality rate is elaborated initially. Then definite, probable, and possible risk factors are discussed including Hp infection, chronic atrophic gastritis, genetic factors, high salt intake, snuff tobacco use, statin use and heavy alcohol use. Then sub-divisions of gastric cancer are pursued encompassing intestinal type, diffuse type, proximal tumor, and distal tumor. After that, etiology of gastric tumors is extensively elucidated. Moreover, deletion/suppression, amplification/overexpression and some other genetic abnormalities in gastric adenocarcinoma are delineated under the heading of tumor genetics.

MANAGEMENT OF GASTRIC CANCER
Melena, dysphagia, and abdominal pain are some of the clinical features of gastric tumors. Also, sites of spread such as sister joseph’s nodule and Virchow’s node are discussed. For diagnosis, chromoendoscopy, magnification endoscopy, CT Gastrography, and serum markers are used. Then clinical staging of gastric cancer based on TNM classification is highlighted. Treatment modalities include surgery, EMR and ESD, intraperitoneal chemotherapy, and chemoradiation.

GASTRIC CANCER PREVENTION
