This video provides an overview of the different types of formula that can be used to provide enteral nutrition.

You will learn about the 4 major types of tube feeding formula, which includes standard, pre-digested, disease-specific, and blenderized.

You will also learn about the advantages and disadvantages of each type.

Within pre-digested formula, there are two popular types called hydrolyzed formula (or semi-elemental formula) and elemental formula.

These formulas have nutrients that are already broken down to ease digestion. However, you will see that they're not all they're hyped up to be!
