This is a short treatment outcome awareness video of a limb salvage surgery for pelvic bone cancer(sarcoma).

Ewing's sarcoma is predominantly affects the pediatric age group. These belong to PNET/EFT entity and are known to be aggressive and fatal if untreated. Axial located sarcomas tend to have an aggressive progression compared to extremity lesions.

This case scenario is of a 12 year girl who was diagnosed with non metastatic Ewing's sarcoma affecting large part of her right pelvic bone. She responded well to chemotherapy and subsequently internal hemipelvectomy followed by reconstruction with ECRT (irradiated tumour graft) and mesh reconstruction. Adequate response to chemotherapy and follow up is crucial in high risk situations.
