We have defeated cancer. Thank you for your love and support. Thanks to your donations, prayers, food, and love we have finally reached the end of our battle with cancer.
We've lost so much.
We've lost our ability to ignore our luxury. We've lost the strength to ignore real suffering in our community. We lost our ability to withdraw from matters that don't directly affect us.
But we also lost friends
Cancer is a community where you meet people who you know won't make it out. You know their time will come despite your optimism and happy talk. The Fault in our Stars had it right about that. With cancer, you fall in love with people you will lose.

Life wins when you love in a selfless way. When your heart opens to a love that can do nothing for you. One that you extends into the uknowm world beyond; when the physical body is left without its soul but where your soul is still connected through the gateway of love.
You live your life having been changed by this love. You affect new people. Inspire others. Cancer does not end with us, it continues in our world. We act towards those new patients with the love that we learned thru our loss. They are affected by that love. They receive new strength. They defeat cancer.
And Life wins.
Again and again and again. So live today and love today. Find the suffering and the weak. The frail and the hopeless. Share your luxury with them- your time, your money, your food. Inspire them to get better and be better.
