When designing the Brobe Recovery Robe, founder Allison Schickel wanted to create something that was functional, and flattering. Something that would make women feel beautiful despite the changes their body may be going through after receiving a breast cancer diagnosis and undergoing breast cancer treatment.
Every aspect of the robe, from the three quarter length sleeve, to the front velcro closure of the built in bra, to the pockets on the inside and the outside of the robe... it was all designed with the healing and recovery of the breast cancer patient in mind.
The Brobe Recovery Robe is makes a wonderful gift for anyone undergoing surgery that will need post op drains during recovery.
It comes with four interior pockets to hold post op drains, aka JP Drains, plus a built in bra that can hold hot or cold packs, or a prosthetic breast.
The material is so soft, cool to the touch, yet durable enough to hold the weight of the JP drains. It can be washed over and over again and it won't fade or wear out.
