➡️Down syndrome is a genetic disorder caused when abnormal cell division results in an extra full or partial copy of chromosome 21. This extra genetic material causes the developmental changes and physical features of Down syndrome.

➡️Gorlin-Goltz syndrome is an autosomal dominant disorder with a high degree of penetrance and variable expressivity. It is characterized by basal cell carcinomas, odontogenic keratocysts, palmar and/or plantar pits, and ectopic calcifications of the falx cerebri.
