Symptoms Of Testicular Cancer

I'm doing this video about testicular cancer because someone in my family has experienced it, so I've had a chance to learn more than I ever wanted to know about it. I'll share what I've learned about the symptoms of testicular cancer in the next minute or so. I've also done a lot of reading and research on this topic on reliable medical websites like these.

Compared with other types of cancer, testicular cancer is fairly rare. But it's most likely to occur in males between the ages of 15 and 35, when a tumor grows on a testicle. See the visual on the left. Cancer usually affects only one testicle.

Symptoms include

* A lump or enlargement in either testicle

* A feeling of heaviness in the scrotum

* A dull ache in the abdomen or groin

* Pain or discomfort in a testicle or the scrotum

Men may also experience enlargement or tenderness of the area of the breasts. Back pain can be a symptom when considered in conjunction with those I've listed.

You should consult your doctor if you detect any pain, swelling or lumps in the testicles, especially if these symptoms continue for more than two weeks.

I've produced several other videos on this topic. You can watch them by clicking on the links above.
