Social deprivation and gender affects incidence of Hodgkin lymphoma in children and young adults

During a press conference at ECC 2015 Dr McNally presents study findings suggesting that living in overcrowded conditions protects children and young adults against developing a particular type of Hodgkin lymphoma.
This protective effect seems to be derived from children experiencing infections earlier in life that stimulate the immune system to deal with future infections and cancerous cells more efficiently.
