Side Effects of Getting Your Tubes Tied
Q: Ever since I got tubes tied I have really bad periods. I have cramps and really bad bleeding as well. I have no insurance is there some where I can go to help with this?
A: In general I would say that getting your tubes tied should not cause your periods to be worse, heavier, or painful. There may be another cause for these things other than getting your tubes tied and it may be a coincidence that it showed up at the same time. We do have a lot of treatment options for such things and sometimes there are tests that evaluate your symptoms.
There are several community health clinics around the Salt Lake City area. Many such clinics offer medical care based on a graded schedule. Also, many physician offices such as ours will set up payment plans with patients in most cases so they can come in and be seen.
