Role of Chemotherapy in Advanced Liver Cancer (Hepatocellular Carcinoma, HCC)

In advanced Liver cancer (Hepatocellular Carcinoma, HCC), defined by BCLC-C stage, the current first line options are: Atezolizumab / Bevacizumab, Lenvatinib, and Sorafenib. These drugs have increased the median overall survival (close to 18 months). In future many novel combination of drugs and drugs with LRT are expected to further increase the survival for advanced HCC.
