John's prostate cancer had spread to his lymps, lungs and bones and his prognosis was 6 months to a year. He had already undergone hormone therapy, chemotherapy and another treatment but with no success. However, thanks to a clinical trial using a new treatment he was able to nearly eliminate the cancer. With the new treatment his symptoms got better and is PSA lowered.
