To help launch the Prostate Cancer Foundation’s new national public awareness campaign, we conceptualized, filmed and edited a public service announcement (PSA) featuring boxing legend and five-time heavyweight champion of the world Evander Holyfield. The PSA pulls viewers into Holyfield’s natural element — the boxing ring — and encourages African-American men to get checked for prostate cancer because they are 1.6 times more likely to develop prostate cancer than Caucasian men, and 2.4 times more likely to die from the disease.
