In this video, Ravindra Majeti, MD, PhD, from Stanford University, Stanford, CA, speaking from the International Conference of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia 2017 in Estoril, Portugal by the European School of Hematology (ESH), discusses his groupโ€™s research into hemopoietic stem cells, including the mutations causing pre-leukemic stem cells and their relation to the development of AML. Dr Majeti details the various models being used to assess these genetic mutations, including the CRISPR-Cas9 system.
