Mr. Ali Shakkir Salloom from Iraq was suffering from progressive hearing loss and pulsatile tinnitus for one year. He was diagnosed to have massive Tympanojugular Paraganglioma. A doctor in Iraq had referred him to our Team BSBI led by Dr. Sampath Chandra Prasad Rao.

Patient underwent complete tumor excision post embolisation with Infratemporal fossa type A approach with BI300 implant for ipsilateral simultaneous hearing restoration. Post operatively his histopathology report showed paraganglioma. He had HB grade III facial paralysis which is expected to recover further. He is extremely happy with the outcome of the surgery & is leading a normal life.
