Pancreatic NET or Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumours are a rare form of cancer with symptoms that are often perceived to simply be stomach problems related to diet or stress.
This film presents the story of Xavier, who was diagnosed with Pancreatic NET around 5 years ago. In the beginning Xavier attributed his stomach pains, headaches and high blood pressure to lifestyle, diet and exercise.
However after visiting a gastrointestinal specialist, it was identified that Xavier had pancreatic NET. Pancreatic NET is a chronic, not acute disease meaning that it can have a devastating effect upon lifestyle.
Having undergone extensive surgeries Xavier's life changed tremendously and he now leads a nearly normal life, going back to work and spending time with his friends and family.
