New hope for blood cancer treatment

Adelaide researchers will use a $1 million Federal Grant grant to improve the diagnosis and treatment of blood cancers, which affect 1.2 million people worldwide every year. UniSA Associate Professor Chris Hahn discusses a new project which will help correctly classify genetic mutations which cause blood cancers, providing drug-specific targeted treatments and better patient management.
