My routine cancer appointment - Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia
This is just a short snapshot of a typical day of appointments with my cancer care team at St. Bartholomew's Hospital, London. I am attending my routine appointment to give blood samples, meet with my consultant haematologist and hopefully collect my repeat prescription...
**update** my medication finally arrived by courier at 13:25hrs GMT today, after I had to chase this up with the hospital! Although I am happy to have the medication now, this was really upsetting and caused me a lot of frustration. Thank goodness I have them now.
I will be uploading content based on my strength and conditioning based training workouts. My focus will be on maintaining health and wellbeing as relates to my Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia condition, and anyone living with a long term illness. I will always provide motivation and positive thinking to lead a fulfilling life and beat blood cancer.
