Mom of Teenage Son Affected by Gorlin Syndrome to Join Dermatologist and Share Insights in Webinar
Beth Spiegel, a mom of a two children and parent of a15 year old boy who was diagnosed with Gorlin syndrome at age eight, will join Meredith Weiss, another parent of a child with Gorlin syndrome, and Dr. Elena Hawryluk, a pediatric dermatologist and associate professor of dermatology at Harvard Medical School, for the third in a four-part webinar series for kids of all ages affected by Gorlin syndrome. This webinar will focus on teens and tweens ages eleven to fifteen years old, and will include discussions about medical management, helping kids cope with the disease and interact with their peers, participation in extracurricular activities, the importance of daily routine sun protection, and more.
