Vishal Patel, MD, FAAD, FACMS, The George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Washington, DC, talks on Mohs surgery for melanoma and Merkel cell carcinoma of the head and neck. Moh’s surgery, a surgical technique for skin cancer resection that allows the surgeon to evaluate the complete surgical margin. Dr Patel discusses why it might be beneficial for patients to utilize complete margin analysis surgery when working in conjunction with other surgical colleagues to treat these aggressive tumors. This interview took place at the 18th World Congress on Cancers of the Skin (WCCS 2022) in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
