Li-Fraumeni syndrome (LFS) is a rare disorder that greatly increases the risk of developing cancer. Lemischka and colleagues now use iPSCs derived from LFS patients to model cancer revealing the pathological mechanisms caused by mutant p53 in osteosarcoma development.
