The chances of a man developing breast cancer in his lifetime are 1 in 1000. It usually happens in men aged 60 or above but occasionally affects younger men too.

One such patient was Mr. Prahlad Mahato who developed breast cancer at the age of 58. One of his legs was disabled years ago which used to put pressure on his chest causing a lump that also began to bleed.

At HCG, Dr. TM Singh found the lump to be cancerous and proceeded with his treatment which included chemotherapy, radiation sessions and an operation in which the lump was removed.

Today, Mr. Mahato has none of his previous discomforts.

Watch this video to know more about Mr. Mahatoโ€™s experience and what the doctors have to say about male breast cancer.
