Deepti Radia, MBBS, BSc, MRCPI, FRCPath, MSc Med Ed, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK, discusses the treatment and management of advanced systemic mastocytosis (SM) and how the field has transformed in recent years. Dr Radia first highlights novel agents that have made an impact, drawing focus on tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), and then goes on to discuss the challenge of treating overlap syndromes and how these may be overcome. This interview took place at the third annual Texas MPN Workshop (TMW) 2022, held in San Antonio, TX.
