1st Interview with Maylee
Maylee Ann Edwards was born 6/25/2010 and on 12/29/2014 she became the youngest person diagnosed with Basal Cell Carcinoma. This channel will be a way for her family to document and share her story in discovering the cause of her cancer. We know the nurse did not remove all the cancer, but was advised by the doctor to leave it be for now.
As of now, doctors suspect Maylee has Gorlin Syndrome; Gorlin syndrome, also known as nevoid basal cell carcinoma syndrome, is a condition that affects many areas of the body and increases the risk of developing various cancerous and noncancerous tumors.
We are referring to this as her invisible sickness until we confirm the expected diagnosis.
