Philip Philip, MD, PhD, FRCP, Wayne State University School of Medicine/Henry Ford Health, Detroit, MI, comments on the latest developments in testing for pancreatic cancer. Early detection of high-risk pancreatic cancer is critical for patient outcomes, and certain risk factors can help identify patients who are at risk. Patients with a family history of cancer, carry certain genes such as BRCA1/2, and have onset diabetes have a higher probability of developing pancreatic cancer. This interview took place at the ESMO World Congress on Gastrointestinal Cancer (WCGIC) 2023 in Barcelona, Spain.
