Colorectal cancer symptoms in a young person? Emotional cancer Q&A Vlog
Malin & Tom
Have you wondered what the colorectal cancer symptoms might be in a young person? In this colon cancer vlog, we discuss what the first symptoms of Malin's rectal cancer were, our experience of the Swedish healthcare system when it comes to cancer treatment, specifically chemotherapy and radiation therapy, as well as some of the other creators here on Youtube that have inspired us with their cancer journeys, specifically @kingingit, @eamonandbec and @tiffanythinks.
In October 2022, Malin was diagnosed with stage 2/3C colorectal cancer at the young age of 29. Since this, she's had a full course of radiation therapy, is it just about to start round 3 of chemotherapy. The radiotherapy was tough to get through, and the chemo is, of course, also proving to be a huge challenge, but we're getting through it. One foot in front of the other.
After the chemotherapy is finished, Malin will be having surgery to remove whats left of the cancerous tumour, and will hopefully be on her way to becoming cancer-free.

Who are we?
——————
We are a young 'Swenglish' adventure family, that consists of Swedish Malin, English Tom, and babies Charlie & Isabella, who are half and half. We love all kinds of adventures, including travelling around Sweden and beyond in our little budget family campervan, and we're currently building our dream campervan project.
But right now we’re focused on one thing: to be free of cancer. We've been on the journey to recover since Malin received her colorectal cancer diagnosis in late 2022.
