Breast reconstruction after breast cancer | Plastic Surgery
This is an informational overview video on all the reconstructive options for patients with breast cancer. This video starts with discussing the steps before reconstruction. Afterwards I explain the reconstructive options: Doing nothing, External breast reconstruction, Perforator flap reconstruction, and Breast Prosthesis. In this video I give you my take on the pro's and cons of each option, and I try to give you a realistic image of the options and their end-result. I also added in some tips on how to get the best result after any breast reconstruction.
