Some more ways on how to detect breast cancer would be itchiness of the breast, change in size, consistency and redness of the breasts. The main breast cancer causes would be ageing, leading a stressful life, excessive body weight, excess consumption of alcohol. Most of these factors can be worked on. What causes breast cancer other than these factors? There are non-modifiable factors such as early menarche, late menopause and late child-birth as well. Women in the age group of 40-50 once a year must take an x-ray of the breasts.
